Pitch Perfect Coming to Blu-Ray December 18th

My girlfriends and I love to ditch the family from time to time and sneak off to the movies after we put the kids to bed.  Leaving the husbands to watch sports/TV/play video games/etc.  We try and to it at least every other month or so.  Sometimes it takes much longer between outings, sometimes it’s shorter.  The last one we went to was Pitch Perfect.  Every single one of us LOVED the movie.  It’s hilarious and and so much fun.

The movie takes place at a college where A Capella groups are all the rage.  There is an all boys group, and an all girls group that are both at the top of their game.  They are in constant competition with each other.  The girls group suffered a massive set back at the previous year’s national competition, and are seriously lacking in support now.  They put together a sort of rag tag group of girls to try and compete for the top spot once again.

As someone who loves to purchase movies that I adore, as soon as we were walking out of the theater I was already saying that this one was a “must buy” for me.  The characters were fantastic and lovable (even the antagonist had some lovable moments, such as throwing up on stage when it really counted), the singing, and the songs were awesome to listen to, and the storyline was perfect.  I’m super excited about buying the Blu-Ray to check out these features!
