    BREAKING: USPS Eliminates Saturday Delivery!

The USPS announced today that, starting in August, they will no longer be delivering mail on Saturdays!  They will continue to deliver packages on Saturdays though.  This decision, I’m sure, didn’t come lightly.  Personally I think it’s an excellent move on their part. First, the amount of mail going through the USPS is much less these days.  I rarely get anything in the mail.  I try and get paid mostly through Paypal, almost ALL of my bills arrive in [...]

    Pin Etiquette on Pinterest

Tired of half naked people floating around on Pinterest? If it’s James Marsden, maybe not. You don’t have to put up with profanity or nudity, you just need to report it. Here’s the rules when it comes to Pinterest,  according to the Pin Etiquette article found on Pinterest here.* 1. Be nice. Pinterest is a community of people. Individual taste is personal, but be respectful in your comments and conversations. I once had someone pin the chicken coop my husband and I built, and they called it [...]

    Facebook’s Making Changes to Pages

If you are the proud owner of a Facebook “fan” Page, you have probably already seen the notice.  For those of you who do not have a Fan Page, it may come as a surprise at the end of the month.  I’m sure this is just the first of the many changes that will be coming to Facebook Pages as they likely will follow a similar format to the new Timeline interface for the regular profile pages.  First, I know I said [...]

  • NO, Facebook Will NEVER Charge YOU!

NO, Facebook Will NEVER Charge YOU!

Wow, I’m almost getting sick of talking about Facebook!  I still have a video recording today about the new Timeline profile, which I think is pretty awesome.  I just wanted to address something I’ve seen wandering around people’s status updates again though.  I attended a seminar with none other than Mark Zuckerberg himself at BYU.  The question came up about whether or not Facebook would ever charge to use it’s service.  The answer directly from Mark Zuckerberg’s mouth was that [...]

The One Where HP Goes CA-RAZY

Among the several shocking announcements in the tech world last week, was probably the most shocking of the year! I’m, of course, talking about the news HP released last week. First, they announced that they will discontinue manufacturing the mobile devices they JUST BARELY RELEASED. Then they announced that they had been approved to either break off or sell off it’s Consumer PC division!  What exactly does that mean in regular every day terms?  It means that HP has pretty [...]

  • Redbox Now Has Games

    Redbox Now Has Games

Everyone’s favorite video rental kiosks just got a little more favoriter.  Starting June 17th Redbox started offering games at it’s extremely popular DVD rental kiosks.  The games are available for $2 a day, as opposed to their DVD’s for $1 or Blu-Ray for $1.50.  The game selection is pretty good, but then again, I’m not much of a gamer.  I’d have to ask my husband what he thinks about the offerings. When Redbox first came out, it was a bit [...]
